Snow Boat (drama, animated short film)
"Snow Boat" is a short animation collaborative project that I participated as the art detector. The story is about a man who is forced to leave his ice home as the sun threatens to destroy everything he holds dear. He builds a boat from ice and sets on a journey of rebirth, bringing a woman made of snow for company. We were pursuing a minimal and poetic look for this film, in order to achieve this goal, the director and I have decided to apply the artistic strokes and textures to 3D render animation.
Snow Boat has been selected and won a few awards around the world. As the art director, I won the award of Achievement in Art Direction in 2014 SCAD Graduate Show.
