Over the Rainbow  (Fantasy, Animation)

Over the Rainbow is a concept design practice project.
Story: A evil but silly spider lives in a forest, who catches bugs and small animals living near by him, and enslaves them or turns them to objects to fill his needs. A smart humming bird is the hero in this story to rescue his friends.

Environment Design

The first concept of the spider's home is a rusty tin can in a garden.

Character Design

The antagonist is a spider, who has evil mind yet quite clumsy. He used to make-up as a street hawker to get close to the small animals and catch them with his magic camera, then enslave them serving at his home.

The protagonist is a humming bird who is a intelligent and calm kid tried to rescue his friend from the spider's home.

The spider has a Hercules beetle as one of his mounts.

A millipede is the spider's cargo transportation.

The spider enslave his prisoners at home, or turned them to be part of his house. The props are include: medical cabinet, frog couch, dining table, frog door bell, wings fan, lizard wall decoration, firefly lamp, medical boxes on wall, porch lamp, caterpillar skin rug.
