This is the opening shot of the film. It has established the tone of this film by presenting the living environment of the protagonist，harsh，isolated.
Like all the other shots of the film, the background was painted with stacked a bench of texture layers on top of it in different blend modes. The character's look and animation was rendered from MAYA, as well as the ice ground and ice pieces animation. |

After we got the model of the protagonist, I painted over the MAYA rendered image to show how the texture and shading are going to looks like.
I use 3D paint tool to bring brush strokes to the character.
